![Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide (Pottermore Presents, #3)](https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1502156557m/31538647.jpg)
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is the third (and longest) book in the "Pottermore Presents..." series, and my favourite of the three.
Each chapter deals with a separate aspect of life at Hogwarts - Chapter One: The Journey to Hogwarts, covers King's Cross Station, Platform 9 3/4 and The Hogwarts Express; Chapter Two covers the Sorting Hat; Chapter Three: The Castle and the Grounds covers the Hufflepuff Common Room, The Marauder's Map, and The Great Lake; Chapter Four covers lessons at Hogwarts, including a bit about the Time-Turner; Chapter Five: The Castle Residents covers the ghosts and the Hogwarts portraits; and finally, Chapter Six: Secrets of the Castle, covers the Mirror of Erised, the Pensieve, the Philosopher's Stone, the Sword of Gryffindor and the Chamber of Secrets.
It continues to amaze me how detailed the Potterverse really is, and what an incredible imagination JK Rowling has. The skill of her world building, her character development, the ingenious way everything just fits together - it is just mindblowing. I'm currently revisiting the Harry Potter series in audiobook form (read by Stephen Fry, who is perfect) and I'm enjoying reliving the story - knowing how it ends in no way takes away from the pleasure of it all. There is so much detail, it is like reading it with fresh eyes (or fresh ears, in this case!)
I will never be too old for Harry Potter!
